Log cabin Aurora is set in the beautiful mountain area of Yllas: Finland's number 1 ski resort. Set above the Arctic Circle, the guaranteed snow throughout the ski season makes for a perfect winter Lapland holiday. Yllas within the Pallas Yllas National Park, has all the winter activities you would expect from snow boarding to snowmobiling, husky sledging and of course, ski slopes. In Summer you can immerse yourself in the nature and enjoy cycling, running, canoeing, wild swimming and fishing. The space Log cabin Aurora is a traditional kelo log cabin, built from 100 year old pine logs. The cabin has underfloor heating, as well as a log burner, and private sauna. The perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes! There is an open plan kitchen and dining room, and a separate bedroom downstairs, along with a loft area with additional sleeping. There is one bathroom downstairs with a shower and the sauna, and a separate w/c upstairs in the loft area. Aurora sleeps 6 people in total, 4 in single beds and 2 on childrens futon style floor mattresses. Outside there is a covered terrace area at the back overlooking the forest. Aurora also has a private locked cabin where you can store skis and outdoor equipment, and a parking space. Guest access Aurora is available for your exclusive private use.
