The space Each bedroom at the casa is designed as a quiet retreat, where natural materials and thoughtful craftsmanship come together to create a deeply calming atmosphere. The walls are finished in handcrafted mampostería, adding texture, depth, and a timeless character that connects the space to the region’s traditional building techniques. Above, warm wooden ceilings bring a sense of intimacy and softness, while allowing the space to breathe and stay naturally cool. Soft natural light filters through, highlighting the earthy tones and subtle imperfections that make each room feel authentic and grounded. Views of surrounding greenery create a constant connection to nature, making every morning and evening feel slow, peaceful, and intentional. For comfort, each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, a TV, and high-quality linens and towels, ensuring a stay that feels both elevated and effortless. These are not just bedrooms, they are spaces designed for rest, disconnection, and a return to simplicity. Guest access There will be a lockbox in the front gate for easy self check-in access. Luis Alejandro (gray), Negri (black), and Gordi (white with patches). They’re neutered, fully vaccinated, and will likely stop by to say hello (or politely ignore you, depending on their mood 😄). • Panchito, our resident ground turtle, also lives here, he moves at his own pace, so please be kind and give him his space. • Nature is part of the experience! You’ll spot plenty of birds, including the Turquoise-browed motmot (Toh), along with parrots, woodpeckers, herons, and more. • At night, you might see a few small toads around, completely normal and part of the local ecosystem. • No mice here, the cats take their job very seriously. • The two fishponds are home to our aquatic residents, please don’t feed or touch them, but definitely take a moment to enjoy watching them. Events • The listed nightly rates apply only to a standard vacation rental stay for up to 6 guests. If you plan to use the property for an event—such as a birthday celebration, wedding, proposal, workshop, or any similar gathering—please note that event pricing is quoted separately. Homeowner's lock-off •There is a small room located in one corner of the building that is not accessible to guests. It is the homeowner’s private lock-off area and is reserved for their use only.
