Only 400 m away is the stop of the tourist train that departs from the tourist village of Katoro and runs along the coast to the centre of Umag and vice versa. The centre of Umag can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or by tourist train. In the centre of Umag, visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, take a walk along the famous Umag dam, explore the narrow and interesting streets of the historic centre of Umag, or visit the stalls and, to the delight of the children, the playground right by the sea. The supermarket is 500 metres from the house. To buy a larger amount of groceries, it is better to walk a few kilometres to the larger and more convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine. We recommend visiting the Istrian hinterland for days away from the beach or evenings out.
