Historic Residence: Bedroom 1

There are two options for preparing meals: 1. The kitchen. A shared kitchen is available to help guests out and to prepare a quick meal, not as a place to spend time. It cannot accommodate all guests if all the rooms in the house are booked. Thank you for your understanding. Trays are provided in the kitchen so that you can eat either in your room or in the garden. A white fridge is provided, along with a microwave (in the fitted kitchen unit), a Bosch coffee machine with Tassimo pods and a filter coffee machine (coffee must be purchased in advance), and a kettle, all of which are on the unit by the entrance. Cutlery, glasses, plates and saucepans are in the lower cupboard next to the fridge, directly opposite the clock. The other kitchen utensils underneath the extractor hood are for your private use. Please rinse your used kitchen utensils and place them in the dishwasher. I’ll take care of starting it. 2. On the 2nd floor: In the cupboard on the 2nd floor next to the hob, you’ll find cutlery, glasses and cups provided for your use. Plastic boxes are provided for taking dirty dishes downstairs to place them in the kitchen dishwasher. I’ll take care of starting it up. To reheat your food, a microwave is also available in the same area, along with a Bosch coffee machine with Tassimo pods and a filter coffee machine (you’ll need to buy the coffee in advance) plus a kettle. Each bedroom has a desk or table for eating. Pellet stoves are the main heating source for the house. Bags of pellets are provided as required. The electric radiators are supplementary heaters used to regulate the temperature in each bedroom. Please use these heating systems sensibly and to the best of your ability. As electricity is a significant cost and has a substantial environmental impact, we would be grateful if you could bear this in mind.
