B&B in stylish Coach House with lovely garden

A stylish double room in an old coach house situated in a quiet lane leading to the magnificent church. You are in the old part of this ancient market town and close to the main attractions. Off-street parking, secure barn for bikes and a large garden. Presteigne is a lively Borders town only 2-miles from Offa’s Dyke Path. Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow are 30-minutes away. You are only 2-miles from a gorgeous section of Offa’s Dyke Path. Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow are each only a 30-minute drive away. The space The room which is a former hayloft, is a calm space with an open ceiling, beams and a view to the garden. Your bathroom is immediately next door and features a large shower. It is very private being at the opposite end to us, the owners. Outside there are numerous areas to sit, a fire basket should you wish and in the summer the evening spectacle of Swifts wheeling high into the sky. Presteigne is in a Dark Skies area and so expect good star gazing. You can walk from the door in all directions and we can point you in the direction of longer walks if you desire. Don't expect the "full English" breakfast here! We love to cook and offer a more varied choice - often from around the world - to satisfy all tastes. Supper or a light bite can also be provided by prior arrangement. The high street in Presteigne is a place to linger, with its eclectic mix of shops. There are also numerous events at the Assembly Rooms, three pubs, an excellent New York style Pizzeria and an Italian restaurant. Guest access You're welcome to sit in the garden when the weather permits. During your stay You'll be staying in our house alongside us (though our bedroom is at the other end of the house to the guest room) so most of the time we will likely be here and can answer any questions you may have.
