Welcome to the Cottage aux Roses, a small retreat inspired by English cottages, in the heart of Normandy in a Norman hamlet, combining old-world charm and a timeless getaway. 🍂 Surrounded by greenery, this is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy a coffee overlooking the garden, or enjoy a movie night on the big screen. Antique furniture, vintage finds, floral touches and authentic materials create a cozy, romantic atmosphere, designed for a getaway for two. The space The accommodation offers all the comforts you need (separate entrance): - On the ground floor You will find a fully equipped kitchen. A dining area near an electric stove 🔥 And a living room with a sofa, 📺 Smart TV - 🛏️ Upstairs There is a bedroom with a comfortable 140 x 190 bed, a reading area and a bathroom that includes a spacious shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. 🎬A video projector to enhance your evenings, with a Netflix account that the cottage has. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Outside: 🌹 Private garden with flowers ✨ Private terrace ☕ Outdoor dining and relaxation area 🌿 Walks near the river 🐑🐓 Our animal friends are present on the property. Including our two little mascots 🐈‍⬛, who you'll definitely take to heart during your stay! 🥐 Breakfast is optional if you wish. (By reservation and subject to the hosts' availability) Important Things to note: 🪜Access to the upper floor is via a miller's staircase, which is typical but quite steep. It is not suitable for people with limited mobility or young children. (No barrier) Special care is required. However, we offer the possibility for young parents with children under 6 months old to come and recharge their batteries in our cottage. A co-sleeping bed is available, as well as a high chair. 🚗You can park your vehicle near the cottage on the property, with dedicated parking for the cottage in the farmhouse courtyard. 🧺Sheets, blankets, towels and dishes are available to you. The Cottage aux Roses is ideal for a stay for a couple looking for tranquility and authenticity, just steps away from the Normandy countryside. Guest access The cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Cotentin, close to Valognes (less than 10 minutes), where you will find all the shops. Its central location will allow you to travel all over Cotentin to discover its wonders. The beaches can be reached in 20 to 25 minutes, allowing you to easily travel between the east coast (D-Day Beach) and the west coast. There are multiple hiking trails close to the cottage. The SNCF train station is a 10-minute drive from the cottage. Convenience stores are located in the municipality of Valognes, less than a 10-minute drive away.
