It’s one of about 10 houses located at a small, quiet inlet named Paprenica Bay on the island of Silba, but it’s only a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute bike ride to the island’s lively main town. From the house’s terrace, you peer through the foliage of holm oaks to the sea! You enter a world of serenity and inspiration the moment you arrive, so don’t forget your yoga mat. Thanks to its sheltered location off the beaten path, residents of this house are spared any signs of touristic hustle and bustle in summer. During the high season, sailboats lay at anchor in the bay. The island is car-free. If you wish, you can arrange to have your luggage (also small children and bicycles) picked up upon arrival by a tractor and transported directly to the house in Paprenica. The price is 30 EUR. The house’s interior measures 60 m2 and there’s a 20 m2 terrace. There are two bedrooms, each with its own separate entrance and each with a 180m2 double bed. The house features an open-plan combination kitchen-living room with a convertible (pull-out, sleeper) couch, bathroom with shower & toilet, and a storage space for clothing, etc. Kitchen-living room: stove, refrigerator, toaster, stove-top espresso maker, CD player, dinner table & four chairs, large convertible couch, fireplace; We don't have a freezer. terrace: outdoor fireplace, table with six chairs; lovely, shady inlet right at your doorstep; hammock strung between olive tree and a holm oak; The house can accommodate a maximum of four to six guests (on the convertible couch). Electricity is provided by photovoltaic equipment. There is warm water; no washing machine or hair dryer! In town, there are two stores, restaurants, pastry shop/café, post office, etc. For the ride there, two bicycles are provided, one with a trailer to carry groceries & supplies or small children. Firewood for the outdoor fireplace is on hand it's better to use charcoal There are no shops in Paprenica itself! It’s just a small harbor for about 15 boats.
