Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges is on our family farm, Barrock Mains, in the most Northerly County on Scottish mainland! With 950 acres of farmland to explore, the beautiful Lodges offer far reaching views some say are the best in the County! The vaulted ceiling in each spacious lodge sets them apart and the private BBQ huts are a huge hit with guests. Centrally located, John O'Groats, the NC500, award winning beaches and main towns, Wick and Thurso are in easy reach. The space The Lodges are in an amazing, peaceful setting and offer an authentic experience of the ‘great outdoors’ and ‘getting back to nature’ with the added luxury of very comfy beds, soft furnishings and all mod cons! Each Lodges sleeps up to 6 people and include a shower room, kitchen area, open plan living area with a sofa bed, a double bed and a further separate twin bedroom. All bedding and towels are supplied and included in the daily rate. The lodges also have private BBQ huts so you can “eat out” and enjoy a tasty meal using locally sourced, high-quality produce if you wish to. The large lawn area at the front of the Lodge provides space for garden games and the decking area allow guests to enjoy a drink or eat a meal. Each Lodge is set out so that there is privacy between each property. Guest access Barrock Mains is a working farm and there’s always plenty to observe from shearing the sheep in early summer, ploughing the fields in the winter and lambing in the spring. There are many wonderful walks to enjoy on the Farm too! An hour’s walk from the lodges, heading west, brings you to an area where only the sound of the Lapwing (Shochadh) and Curlew can be heard. Guests are also welcome to experience farm life and can meet the Farm owner who has owned the Farm for over 50 years, and guests can get involved in whatever is happening on the day or visit the Farm's historic sites and walks all listed in the Welcome Brochure map.
