Find yourself in nature The space This well-insulated cottage, built from ecological, environmentally conscious domestic and European wood, has its own unique atmosphere. This cottage overlooks the meadows and orchard of the small paradise. The nature house can accommodate up to two people. This eco cottage features a cozy double bed and offers more than enough living space. You will find a fully equipped shared kitchen and bathroom facilities in a central location on our property. Please bring your own bath and hand towels.  There is a wood-fired sauna (25.00 euros for one hour) available on the property. Please discuss the possibilities with the owner on the day of arrival. For those who love culture, history, peace, and open spaces, this property is centrally located between the Frisian Eleven Cities of Bolsward, Sneek, Leeuwarden, and Franeker. Just two kilometers away by foot, bike, or boat is the picturesque village of Easterein, where the medieval church and the Frisian restaurant are well worth a visit. You will soon be impressed by the beautiful farms, picturesque meadows, and waterways. To enjoy these waterways, canoes and SUPs are available for rent on-site. Terherne, where the Kameleon books for children come to life, is easily accessible from this location. A visit to the various Frisian Elfsteden (Eleven Cities) in the area is well worth it. For example, Franeker has the oldest functioning planetarium in the world, which is open to the public. The port city of Harlingen, from where ferries depart for Terschelling and Vlieland, is full of cozy fishing cafés. Bolsward, with its beautiful town hall and canals, is also close by.
