The cottage in the barn (300 sqm)

The house is located in a beautiful historic sandstone barn from 1869 on the listed knights' estate in Weenzen. The old wall keeps a very pleasant temperature in the rooms even in hot days, for the cold season the barn has underfloor heating and a fireplace, which can be seen from both the living room and the kitchen. Due to the village location, it is very quiet and you have a beautiful view of the garden and the fields behind it. The space The living space is set over 1.5 floors. The old driveway was converted into a kitchen and living room. The rooms are characterized by their characteristic wooden ceiling, sandstone floors, half-timbered walls and quarry stone walls. The barn also has a sauna,solarium and bathtub with hot tub (for a fee). The conversion of the barn into a residential building was mentioned in 6 trade journals in 1994 and won a prize from "Schöner Wohnen". Guest access The barn is only used by you. With a stay of 7 people, a bedroom becomes a walk-through room. Other things to note The cottage invites you to relax and linger.
