Vomero has a fully equipped kitchen housing an oven, fridge with freezer compartment & microwave. Apartment has a kingsize bed & internal dressing room with shower room with WC. The space Vomero is a Grade II listed house full of character & charm, with many original features. The hallway has a magnificent sweeping mahogany staircase & stunning stained glass windows dating back to 1838. A house that has had many historical residents including the famouse engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel who lived with his family at Vomero in 1848. In 2009 Vomero was awarded a Blue Plaque from Torbay Civic Society for Brunels stay. Guest access It's not all about the view ~ altough it is rather amazing! Not only do you have an entire apartment in a beautiful historic home, you can also enjoy our outside space which is a rarity in Torbay! Free secure parking onsite (1 non-allocated space per apartment) Full use of an acre of beautiful gardens Our gardens have seating, sun loungers and dining areas Vomero also has a guest Outback barbecue which can be reserved and set up for your own personal use for breakfast, lunch, afternoon or evening! Self catering - do your own thing... Other things to note We are on top of a hill (Stitchill Road says it all) so whilst we do get amazing sea views the compromise is on the walk back up. It can be challenging & not suitable for those less able, or elderly, Torquay has plenty of parking & cabs are easily available!
