Shanagarry Cottage(Opp. Ballymaloe Cookery School)

This modern, newly renovated cottage for four is set in a rural location, opposite the world famous Ballymaloe Cookery School and within walking distance of Shanagarry Village, Garryvoe Beach and 3 miles from the beautiful fishing village of Ballycotton. We are a 20 minute drive from Midleton town and 10 minutes off the N25 Cork-Waterford road. Brilliant for an individual, a family or couples. The cottage boasts a bright living area with high ceilings and a South/West facing private patio. The space Shanagarry Cottage is located on the grounds of the family home at the rear of the property. There is a shared entrance with the family, which has electric entrance gates making the property very secure and also a smaller gate for pedestrian access. Situated in a rural location it offers absolute peace and quiet. The house has a light-filled open kitchen/living/dining area with wooden floors and views of the countryside with an eastern/western facing aspect and the private enclosed patio to the rear. An electric stove (who really wants to be cleaning up ashes whilst on holiday?) along with central heating, this cottage is warm and cosy. At the front of the cottage, facing east, is the parking area for guests, while a sheltered patio at the rear catches the daytime and afternoon sun. The entrance hall is a spacious area, to hold lots of coats and boots that you will have on your country retreat. Two double bedrooms are simple but comfortable accommodation for four. You will have a restful sleep on our very comfortable mattresses with down duvets and pillows for extra luxury. We also have a foldable mattress for the second bedroom, should kids prefer not to share the double bed. A travel cot/high chair can be provided on request. We do not have a bath, but instead a lovely spacious walk-in power shower. The house has a selection of children's games and toys. Well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and most importantly a Nespresso coffee machine. A washing machine and dryer are in a seperate location off the bathroom. There is a TV and Wifi connection. Guest access Guests have parking to the front of the property, which is in the shared backyard of the family home. Guests have a private enclosed patio to the rear of the property which is south and west facing for all day sun (when the sun shines). Other things to note With the property having a shared entrance with our family, we would ask that you take caution when driving in and out of the property.
