Beautiful two bedroom barn conversion
Beautiful two bedroom barn conversion
Description
Chestnut Barn is a beautifully renovated two-bedroom Cornish granite cottage in the quiet rural hamlet of Fraddam, just a short drive from the wide three-mile sands and big Atlantic skies of the Hayle estuary. Freshly renovated throughout — it has the warmth of a well-loved home with all the little extras you need for a relaxing holiday. Inside, the feel is modern country: warm, considered and lovingly styled. The space A newly renovated kitchen and dining room is the real heart of the cottage, fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine, microwave and a generous dining table. The sitting room is light and bright with white-painted beamed ceilings, a wooden floor and a wood burner for staying cosy on cooler evenings. The big corner sofa is deep and comfy — the kind you sink into with a blanket for a proper movie night. There's a 50" TV with all the usual terrestrial channels and Netflix. Upstairs, there's a master double bedroom and a twin room, both with wardrobes, drawers and hairdryers. The newly renovated bathroom is tiled in contemporary pink stripes with a large walk-in shower and fluffy towels. Outside, you'll find an intimate outdoor terrace overlooking the courtyard with table and chairs, a BBQ and a chiminea — ideal for long evenings and alfresco suppers after a long day on the beach. There's also storage in our outbuildings for bikes and surfboards; just let us know and we'll point you in the right direction. Guests also have access to a half-acre paddock, perfect for morning walkies when your four-legged friends need to let off steam. Dogs are always welcome, and there are plenty of great walks nearby. Parking for 1-2 cars. We have another two-bedroom barn on-site (Mulberry Barn), perfect if you have a larger group or friends wanting to join you. Check out our profile page for full details.
