Beds are made, towels are provided, and some practical essentials are also available. In the kitchen, you will find a small selection of basic cooking essentials, such as salt, pepper, oil, sugar, flour, and coffee/tea, subject to availability. So, the initial small necessities are already taken care of. You will also find a small set of basic everyday essentials: dish soap, dish towels, toilet paper, hand soap, body wash/shampoo, and some cleaning supplies. That way, you don't have to buy everything right away. For everything else, you can easily do as you please according to your personal needs. For cozy days and evenings, there is a fireplace. In addition, the house has air conditioning with cooling and heating functions. Water and electricity consumption is recorded on arrival and departure based on the meter reading. Normal basic usage is included in the price of your stay. Anything beyond that will be billed based on actual consumption. This way, things remain fair and transparent for both sides – especially during the heating season or when the air-conditioning and supplementary heating are used extensively. Please also note: The Ilsehus is a historic half-timbered house. As a result, there are lower ceilings in some areas, low door lintels, and a steeper wooden staircase. Especially if you have young children, we kindly ask you to keep this in mind, as there is no child safety gate on the staircase.
