The place is well suited for families, and is located undisturbed in the middle of Storlidalen in Trollheimen. Enjoy the peace or spend time on outdoor activities. Dalsvatnet invites you to swim and fish, or you can gain altitude on the way to the nearest peak. It is a 10 min. drive to the convenience store and only 30 min. to Oppdal city center with its variety of offers. The space You are in Trollheimen, and the Oppdal-Sunndal region including Dovrefjell has a lot to offer in terms of activities and attractions, a walk or a short drive away. Rafting, musk ox safari, bowling, cinema, concerts are just a few of the many activities. Today's curiosity: The highest waterfall in Europe and Asia (Vinnufallet, 865m) is a three-quarter drive away. In winter, there is a large selection of prepared cross-country ski trails around Oppdal, and you will find some of the country's best ski lifts. Top hikers have many hikes to choose from directly from the house and from the surrounding district. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself. The host lives 300 meters away if needed. Other things to note In the summer you can drive all the way to the parking lot at the cabin. In the winter season there is a 250 meters ski tour from the winter parking lot. We lend a sled for goods transport and are happy to provide a snowmobile for the transport of luggage and goods on arrival and departure.
