Piglet's House
Piglet's House
Description
I look forward to welcoming you to relax, unwind and indulge in our little slice of the cotswolds. The space Set in eight acres of beautiful Wiltshire Countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds, Piglets House can be found within the grounds of an 18th century farm. Piglets House contains a small but well equipped kitchen, a desk for & working from home, a roll-top bathtub, shower and loo, TV and velvet sofa, high-speed Wifi, heating and air-conditioning. Easily accessed from Junction 17 of the M4, it is set down a long driveway and has it’s own off-road parking spot for two cars. Babies/toddlers welcome too. Piglet’s house is a unique “Piggery” that we designed and had built by ‘By Boon’ who specialise in exceptional purpose build structures. Piglet’s house comes equipped with everything you need from the kitchen with an oven, fridge and hob. Piglet’s house is run from our Solar system which powers the heat pump that enables to heat or chill the cabin to your preferred settings making it lovely and cool in the summer with the air-conditioning turned on, or a cosy hideaway in the chilly months where you can curl up and look out at a beautiful view whilst snuggled up inside. Whilst Piglet’s House has been designed with relaxation in mind we were very conscious that the office too often is contained within our laptops and must come travelling with us. Therefore, should they so wish, guests can enjoy the handy desk and chair for setting up a ‘working from home’ station and catching up on their emails. Then when the sun goes down the deck provides the perfect spot for sundowners or stargazing, or you can relax in the roll-top bathtub inside with some delightful bath salts scented with home-grown lavender. Whilst Piglets House cannot accommodate more than 2 adults, we do welcome babies and toddlers if parents wish to bring their own travel cots / toddler beds. Please note that as much as we would love to welcome pets we cannot due to the location of Piglet’s House as the tempting countryside right on the doorstep would lead to too many muddy paws inside during the winter months. The location of Piglet’s House is one of its best features, with beautiful countryside views and yet easily accessed from Junction 17 of the M4. It is set down a long farm track and has its own off-road parking spot for two cars.
