Rural retreat - Hen House, contemporary & spacious

A former chicken shed; the hen house is individual, light, and offers spacious, comfortable, well-equipped accommodation in a rural location. Ideal for exploring the area, for couples wanting to enjoy a quiet, romantic break or a great bolt hole to work or study - you can close up the shutters, lock yourself away and no-one will know you are there! The space We converted this chicken shed for ourselves as we needed a temporary home for at least a year while we renovated our house. We ensured it was spacious enough for ourselves, 3 cats and for my husband to run his business. We ended up spending 18 happy months in the Hen House and were sad to move out. We loved it so much we thought others might enjoy it too! There is plenty of space to accommodate a travel cot (not supplied) On arrival guests will find pantry staples of tea, coffee, olive oil etc. Local apple juice, milk, butter, delicious, organic homemade sourdough and freshly-laid eggs from our chickens are provided for your first breakfast Guest access There is table tennis in an open barn which guests are welcome to use and where you can also store bikes Plenty of outdoor space with tables and chairs, deckchairs, parasol and a BBQ Other things to note Wifi, books, magazines, dvd's, board games and local maps and guides, piano
