A private room within La Senda, a mountain retreat with several separate rooms, surrounded by spacious gardens and open views of the Tepoztlán mountains. Our garden is the heart of the place: shady spots under the trees, open spaces to contemplate the valley, a campfire area and trails through the vegetation. From almost any point on the property, the mountain is right in front of you — at sunrise, with coffee, or at sunset, when the light changes everything. The project is designed for rest, body, and wellness: temazcal, solar-heated pool, natural bio-pool, massages and an outdoor gym. The pool, the shared kitchen and the gardens are shared with the other guests — quiet travelers, because here we value silence. We are in Ocotitlán, the upper and quiet part of the valley, 15 minutes by car from downtown Tepoztlán. There is little cell phone signal in the area, but we have fiber optic internet ideal for video calls and remote work. Guest access La Senda is located in Ocotitlán, a quiet town just 15 minutes from downtown Tepoztlán — close enough to enjoy the magical town, and far enough away to really rest. We are 250 meters from the road to Ocotitlán, on a gravel road that any car can travel on. You don't need a pickup truck. Driving slowly, it takes less than 2 minutes, and that's just what allows us to be surrounded by trees and silence, away from the noise. A day before your arrival, we will send you the exact Google Maps pin and a photo of the entrance so that you can arrive without any problems. As a guest, you have access to: a solar-heated pool (with hours, to ensure everyone can rest; its temperature varies according to the weather), a fully equipped common kitchen, private parking on the property, green areas and gardens. Fiber optic internet throughout the space, ideal for video calls and remote work. The temazcal, massages and campfire area are available with prior reservation. During your stay At La Senda, we respect your space and your rest. We are available and attentive throughout your stay, but without interrupting your privacy: you decide how much contact you want. Communication is mainly through Airbnb chat. We respond quickly. In addition, there are usually La Senda staff on site, so for day-to-day questions there will always be someone nearby who can help you in person. When you confirm your reservation, we will also share with you a number for sending messages exclusively for emergencies or urgent matters during your stay, so that you never go without an immediate response. Other things to note La Senda is a place for rest: we take care of the silence, the schedules, and the number of guests so that your stay is exactly what you came for. We have a very large garden with different areas to enjoy: reading corners, shaded areas under the trees, open spaces with mountain views, and a campfire area. The pool is solar heated, so its temperature depends on the weather: on sunny days it feels warm; on cloudy or cold days it may be cooler. It's part of having a space that works in harmony with nature. To protect everyone's peace of mind, the stay is exclusively for those included in the reservation. If your group changes, please let us know before your arrival so we can update it – it's quick and that way everyone is registered and covered. We do not allow outside visitors or unregistered companions.
