Cottage in the heart of the forest

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation – or enjoy nature together with close friends. A charming cottage of about 80 sqm where simplicity and nature create something unique. Enjoy the silence and the sunset over the meadows. Take a walk in Sweden’s pride – the forest. Sit down with a drink or an ice cream and simply be. You are 60 mins from Kolmården Wildlife Park & Linköping, 45mins from Norrköping, 2 hrs from Astrid Lindgren's World and only 2h15m from Stockholm The space Two bedrooms: one with a built-in bunk bed and one with a comfortable double bed (160 cm). The double bedroom also includes a wardrobe for convenient storage. The bedside lamps by the bunk bed are rechargeable. The charging cable can be found on the windowsill next to the kitchen sink. To charge a lamp, remove the lamp head (it is attached magnetically) and connect the charging cable. Once fully charged, simply place the lamp head back in position. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, as well as a coffee maker and electric kettle – everything you need for a comfortable stay. The stove and oven are equipped with a child lock that must be deactivated before they can be used. To do this, use the oven’s temperature knob: pull the knob out slightly, turn it a little, and then push it back in again. Cleaning supplies such as a vacuum cleaner, mop, and basic detergents are available. Dishes are washed by hand. The tap provides cold water only, but can easily be heated using the kettle if desired. The dining area features a kitchen sofa and two wooden chairs, with an extra stool available if needed. The living room is the heart of the cottage, with a large sofa offering plenty of space for everyone to relax while enjoying the view over the meadows. The sofa can also be used as an additional sleeping space. For a truly nature-close experience, there is an outdoor shower. The water temperature depends on how much the sun has warmed it during the day. If you would like to use the outdoor shower, you first need to open the valve located on the outside of the house, beneath the two windows facing the meadows. When you have finished showering, please remember to turn off the water again by closing the valve. Guest access You are welcome to use the adjoining shed, which contains items such as bicycles, a children's pool, and a dartboard. It is located “behind” the house. Other things to note There is another residence located “below” your cottage. This is private property, and their yard must not be entered. Please respect their privacy.
