At 71 degrees north, on a peninsula facing the mighty Barents Sea, you will find Ekker Island and our extraordinary arctic lodge. A visit here is an Arctic safari where you can expect to see eagles, whales, reindeers, seals and rare birds at our neighbouring bird cliffs. If you visit during winter it’s one of the best places on earth to experience the Aurora Borealis.. The space The apartment is located in the idyllic village Ekkerøy which is an authentic fishing village in Eastern Finnmark. The large windows face the Varangerfjord, allowing you to enjoy the view and nature from a warm and cozy cabin. The cabin is equipped with, WI-FI, comfortable beds, a private bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Guest access The guest have access to the whole cabin, bedlinen and towels, private parking, outdoor seating and woodfired sauna. Other things to note Ekkerøy is nestled right next to the Varangerfjord, with incredible birdlife just steps away and one of the country's most beautiful mountain landscapes as its backdrop.
