Located on the Camino de Santiago, the privileged location of EÇA AGORA! allows you to easily explore the entire city, whether your desire is to visit the historical points, typical streets, beaches or just get lost in Vila do Conde. A few meters from the Igreja Matriz and with privileged views of the Mosteiro de Santa Clara and its aqueduct, EÇA AGORA! is located on Rua da Costa - where the writer Eça de Queirós, who inspired the name of this House, lived. In fact, this city is dotted with old residences of several artists who chose Vila do Conde as a point of inspiration during some phase of their lives: starting with the poet José Régio - a native of this city and whose museum house can be visited - but also Camilo Castelo Branco, Antero de Quental, Guerra Junqueiro, Rui Belo, and the painters Sonia and Robert Delaunay. Vila do Conde is a calm and safe haven for your stay in Northern Portugal, from where you can take short trips to visit the main cities, such as Porto – accessible by metro (station 500m away), Guimarães, Braga, Viana do Castelo, Caminha or Ponte de Lima. Each room is equipped with a pantry that has an electric kettle, toaster, refrigerator and microwave. EÇA AGORA! offers 5 individually decorated suites, creating a unique experience for each guest. Each is associated with a novel by Eça de Queirós, and these works can be consulted both inside the respective rooms and in the small library located on the entrance floor. They are cozy and bright rooms with panoramic windows where you can relax and enjoy the city view. Other things to note As of June 1, 2024, the Municipality of Vila do Conde charges a tourist tax that is not included in the price of the stay and must be paid at the time of check-in.
