Welcome to The Studio, a spacious self-contained two-bedroom annexe set in rural north west Essex. A comfortable and practical base for couples, small families, wedding guests, work-stays and longer breaks, guests have the entire annexe to themselves, a private terrace and secure gated off-road parking. The Studio is well placed, with easy access to Saffron Walden, and Stansted Airport. Children are welcome, as is one well-behaved dog by prior arrangement. Minimum stay 3 days. The space Inside, the space is bright and well laid out, with a lounge and dining area facing opening onto the garden, a well-equipped kitchen, one double bedroom with garden views and one single bedroom, both beds are very comfortable with high quality pillows and duvets. The modern bathroom has a walk-in shower. The Studio sleeps up to 3 guests. The kitchen is equipped for proper self-catering, with oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, cookware, crockery and cutlery, and there is also a washing machine for guest use. Wifi, TV and underfloor heating throughout make it a comfortable stay in every season. Outside, the private terrace is a lovely spot to sit out and enjoy the surroundings. The gardens are a haven for wildlife, you will see fallow deer, muntjac and the occasional fox. It feels very private, while the wider garden and grounds remain private to the owners and are not part of the guest space. Guest access Full access to driveway, including one parking space, and The Studio house including outdoor terrace. Second vehicle parking may be available, please confirm in advance. Access to five acre private garden by agreement with the owners. Other things to note The Studio is a self-contained annexe within private grounds, but guests have their own private accommodation, entrance, terrace and parking for one car. There is exterior CCTV covering the gated entrance and shared access path for security. It does not cover the private terrace or any interior space. The minimum stay is 3 nights. This property is best suited to guests looking for a comfortable, private and well-located stay, it is not suitable for parties or gatherings. There is also a bus stop at the entrance to the property, with services towards Bishop’s Stortford, Stansted Airport, Thaxted and Saffron Walden.
