Private island in sunny Hvaler

A small cabin on a 10.000 sq.m private island in the adventurous archipelago of Hvaler. Accomodates one family (2+3) or four adults. (2+2). The space Private island in the beautiful archipelago of Hvaler; the municipality with the highest number of sunny days per year in Norway! Boat with motor included. Guest access Your own island. Your own boat. Your own cabin. Your own kingdom. Boat with motor included. The cabin is off-grid, but there is 12v available for charging your phone/ipad. The 12v is powered from a solar panel, and it is sufficient to bring your usb charger cable; there are usb charger sockets in the reading lights. Please note that a 12v/230v inverter will not work. There is one single 230v socket that you can use to charge a lap top computer. This socket is also powered from the solar panel's battery. If you have questions about power/electricity; feel free to ask. There is no running water. Drinking water (free of charge) is available from the local grocery store. There are canisters in the cabin which are suitable for collecting drinking water from the grocery store. Other things to note The cabin is small, with a footprint of just over 10 sqm. The cabin contains a hidden, small double bed and an additional double bed on the loft. There are some books, board games and candles for that cozy cabin feeling, and the kitchen is equipped with the utensils you need to make proper home made food. Outside, in the garden, there is a fire pit that doubles for a bbq as well. The loft bed is big enough for three children or two adults. The island has small private beaches at low tide, plenty of bare rock-face and a small privy in addition to the cabin and a small side building containing a kitchen. There are duvets, bed sheets, linens and towels, but you will need to bring your own toiletries and beach towels (if you need one). This property is not wheel chair accessible, and special arrangements might be necessary for elderly guests and/or guests with hip, knee or back problems. Please contact us before you book if you are uncertain. We will off course do everything we can to accommodate you, but we need to know when or before you book. We are working on this issue, and hope to make the property wheel chair accessible in 2023. COVID19 rebookings; We follow the Airbnb procedures for cancellations and rebookings, but offer this opportunity in addition: If your arrangement is cancelled due to covid19, we offer rebooking to another period without any rebooking fee if you let us know more than 7 days before the original check-in date.
