Other things to note If you’re planning to explore Bath, I highly recommend staying two nights so you can enjoy the city at a relaxed pace. Bath is full of beautiful Georgian architecture, historic landmarks, parks, and scenic viewpoints, so having a little extra time lets you see more than just the highlights. Parking can be difficult in central Bath, our bus runs frequently on the main road. Some wonderful places to explore include: • The famous Roman Baths — one of the best-preserved Roman sites in Europe. • Thermae Bath Spa, where you can experience Britain’s only natural thermal spa, including the rooftop pool overlooking the city. • The iconic Georgian architecture of Royal Crescent and The Circus. • The beautiful Pulteney Bridge, a picturesque 18th-century bridge lined with shops. • The scenic Bath Skyline Walk, offering stunning countryside and city views. • The panoramic viewpoint from Alexandra Park — one of the best views of Bath. • Relaxing green spaces such as Royal Victoria Park, Sydney Gardens, and the beautiful landscaped grounds of Prior Park Landscape Garden. • Museums including the Jane Austen Centre and the elegant Holburne Museum. Bath is also famous for its afternoon tea, with many historic tearooms scattered throughout the city centre — perfect for a relaxing break while exploring.
