L’Héritage 1779, in Duntzenheim, offers L’Herbier, a cozy bed and breakfast, perfect for a stay for two. It features a 200 x 200 cm king-size bed, a desk area, a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe, a refrigerator, a courtesy tray, and a private bathroom with shower and double sink. Seasonal swimming pool access, relaxation area with a pool table, breakfast included and served in a room with an Alsatian décor. The space L’Herbier (35 m²) offers a comfortable space comprising the bedroom, shower room, closet, and private toilet. It features a 200 x 200 cm king-size bed, a desk area, a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, and a kettle with a courtesy tray (tea and coffee). Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Pool towels are not included, but can be provided for an additional fee upon request. The bedroom has views of the garden and the pool. Guest access Seasonal access to the swimming pool, garden + covered terrace, relaxation area with a pool table, breakfast included, served in a room with an Alsatian décor. Other things to note Located in the heart of the Bas-Rhin, L’Héritage is ideally situated for exploring Alsace in all its facets. Just 30 minutes from Strasbourg, 20 minutes from Saverne, 40 minutes from Obernai, 1 hour from Colmar, and 3 minutes from the Imodis complex in Saessosheim, the house is an ideal base for exploring culture, cuisine, or nature. Nearby, don’t miss the Royal Palace in Kirrwiller (20 min), the largest music hall in France, for an unforgettable evening. In winter, let yourself be captivated by the magic of Alsace’s Christmas markets, which are among the most renowned in Europe. In the summer, enjoy the house’s swimming pool or head out to discover picturesque villages with half-timbered houses, take walks in the countryside, and enjoy the local cuisine. And throughout the year, explore the region’s iconic sites: Mont Sainte-Odile, Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg, Montagne des Singes, Volerie des Aigles, and Europa-Park, the largest amusement park in Europe. From Hochfelden Train Station (just a few minutes away), you can reach Strasbourg in just 20 minutes—an ideal city break before returning to the peaceful charm of Duntzenheim. Please note: We share our space with five cats, who are also part of the spirit of the house. Rest assured, they do not enter the bedrooms when the doors are kept closed. We prefer to be fully transparent about this, especially for people who are sensitive or have allergies.
