Furthermore, you have the opportunity to ride a bicycle tram past lakes and forests to Målilla. On the route there is a small resting place for barbecues. A trip to Vimmerby is highly recommended. There is the Asrid-Lindgren-Värld, which is worth seeing not only for the little ones. And in and around Vimmerby you can revive many of the author's stories. For example, you can visit Michel at the Katthult Hof in Lönneberga. There is an elk park near Målilla where you can see the lovable Tolpatsche up close. Other destinations are the nature reserves around the Kvilleken, the world's oldest oak, near Vimmerby. And the Kleva Cave, where you can not only explore countless underground passages, but also practice gold panning. Not far away is the island of Öland near Kalmar, where the royal family's summer residence is located, the archipelago and the Kingdom of Crystal in Kosta Boda. Or you can simply sail across the lake in a relaxed manner by canoe or motorboat. The best way to enjoy a romantic sunset is in the hot tub.
