The space The Apatouria Farmhouse is located on a very quiet and lush area on the eastern side of Andros, called Apatouria. Built in the trees, overlooking the green mountains, next to the river Pithara and between the villages of Apikia and Stenies. Two lovely and picturesque villages of great natural beauty. Right in front of the Farmhouse you can find the hiking route number 8, which will lead you through nature, springs, rivers and old mansions to Gialia beach and its crystal blue waters. It is only 5 km away from the island's capital, Chora, and 35 km away from the port of Andros, Gavrio. The last 1 km of the journey to the Farmhouse is through a dirt road, accessible with a normal car. Just a few minutes away from the village of Apikia, famous for the Pithara waterfalls and the spring of Sariza, known for its waters with wondrous healing properties. You can also visit by foot, the village of the “shipping magnates”, Stenies, for a stroll between the old, neoclassical mansions and its green alleyways. The Farmhouse has large indoor and outdoor living spaces and is consisted of 2 bedrooms, 1 large living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with a shower, an outdoor sitting area and a large beautiful garden. It can accommodate up to 6 guests and is pet friendly. It also features a parking space, Wi-Fi, TV, electric fans and a fully equipped kitchen with all electrical appliances and cooking utensils. Minas, the owner of the Farmhouse, lives in a separate apartment on the upper floor along with his 3 adorable little dogs. He will make you feel like home and will offer you an authentic hospitality experience.
