La Bergerie du Manoir étang privé Pays d'Auge

Description

In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, La Bergerie du Manoir accommodates up to 6 guests in an authentic 18th-century Norman sheepfold, carefully renovated. Nestled in a 6,000 m² wooded park, it enjoys a privileged setting by a private pond and a small river. Half-timbering, vintage furniture and water views give the place all its character. Just 10 minutes from Lisieux, a charming place to discover Normandy in a different way. The space In autumn, La Bergerie du Manoir reveals all the charm of the Pays d'Auge: colorful foliage, reflections on the pond and a cozy atmosphere after returning from walks. 🍂 This authentic 100 m² half-timbered Norman house, carefully renovated and decorated with vintage furniture, accommodates up to 6 guests. On the ground floor: large living room with dining area, TV with Netflix, Wi-Fi and desk, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine, and a bedroom facing the pond with a 160 × 190 cm bed. Upstairs: one bedroom with a 140 × 190 cm double bed, a second bedroom with 2 90 × 190 cm single beds, and a second shower room. Outside, enjoy the 6,000 m² wooded park, the private pond, the small river, the garden furniture, the loungers and the barbecue. A raclette set is also available for your autumn evenings. Guest access You have the entire La Bergerie du Manoir to yourselves, as well as its outdoor areas. Feel free to enjoy the 6,000 m² wooded park, the area around the private pond and the small river, as well as the various spaces set up for your time outdoors. Parking is directly in the courtyard of the property, where an EV charger is also available for electric vehicles. From the house, you can reach the hiking trails and cycling routes of the Pays d'Auge. Other things to note The Bergerie du Manoir is nestled in a natural environment, on the edge of a pond and a small river. As these areas are not safe for young children, special vigilance is required. ⚠️ The accommodation is more suitable for families with children aged 8 and up. Due to the layout of the premises and the open staircase leading upstairs, it is also not very suitable for people with limited mobility. For your everyday needs, a bakery, pharmacy and local shops are about 3 minutes away, and a supermarket is 5 minutes away. Lisieux train station is also just a few minutes away and allows you to reach Paris in under 2 hours. In the fall, several events enliven the area: - The Equidays, centered around the world of horses, with numerous events in Calvados: Caen on October 17, Bayeux on the 18th, Vire on the 19th, Falaise on the 20th and Lisieux on October 21. - The Samhain Festival in Bernay, from October 29 to November 1, dedicated to the worlds of witchcraft, European mythologies and imaginary worlds, with shows, concerts, street arts and numerous artisans. In our welcome booklet, you will also find a selection of markets, restaurants, villages, walks and sightseeing ideas to help you explore the Pays d'Auge and its surroundings.
