Frida Kahlo brings color to the coziest room in the house. With a full-size bed, dresser, hangers and chair, this room benefits from the window to the courtyard. Ideal for solo travelers or for couples who like to sleep cuddled up, this room makes our guests dream of a time when the house offered passage beyond its walls. Let’s be honest: cold in winter, hot in summer – we do our best to provide a genuine mountain experience! The space This is the pop-heart house of the mountain! All rooms have a private bathroom. Located in a territory particularly affected by the consequences of climate change, namely by periods of extreme drought and the rigidity of large annual thermal amplitudes, with very harsh winters and very hot summers; we appeal to our guests to exercise a balanced use of water. Used toilet paper and other trash should be disposed of in the container provided in the toilet. Bed linen and bath, face and bidet towels are also provided. Guest access In the oldest block, we can note the division of spaces of the original architecture, with the upper floors dedicated to housing and, on the ground floor, the store transformed into the common space of the house. Here is the kitchen and also the living room where you can enjoy our music collection, board games and library (ask for help to learn how to play music: do not do it alone, otherwise you will be held responsible for any damage). Walking to the upper floors, we find the outer courtyard, where our canine inhabitants, Toro and Pantera, and Puma, the most purring cat in the region, make themselves known. In the old attic, you will find a perfect area for yoga, meditation, pure conversation and contemplation of the horizon and the beautiful sunset that the house offers before winter. In the kitchen of the house there is only one authorized cook: an Italian with masterchef hands, Dutch discipline and Portuguese relaxation. You mainly eat Italian food with Portuguese ingredients (although the pasta, sorry, the pasta, has to be Italian!!!). You drink Portuguese wine, which in itself speaks with excellence. To eat at the house, you will have to book in advance (for Davide to organize the menu and the chef's counter!) During your stay During your stay you can contact us directly (we live in the mono-location of the inner courtyard of the house, so we are really close by. If we are not at home, you can use the contacts available at check-in: if we forget, please ask for our number so we can communicate. Other things to note We have pets: two dogs - Toro & Pantera - and a cat - Puma. They are not allowed to enter the accommodation, so we ask that you do not allow them to do so.
