Less than ten mins drive to Sherborne with lots of footpaths and country lanes, good for bike rides too. The space Sweet cottage with simple rooms whitewashed throughout, a cosy sitting room with wood burner, separate dining area, well-equipped kitchen and a large conservatory as secondary dining or relaxing space. Three first floor bedrooms with lovely views over the garden and countryside. Family bathroom with shower on ground floor. Guest access You may be sharing the garden and meadow with other guests renting the adjoining cottage so please be considerate, there is plenty of space and private spots for all. If you have a pet please keep on a lead and clean up after them, the garden is not pet-proof (or indeed child proof so do monitor little ones at all times). There is a huge choice of public footpaths and country lanes so plan to walk or bring your bike. Enjoy Oxford's Bakery in Alweston which has a great cafe as well as fresh bread. The Elms pub/farmhouse kitchen is only five minutes away, and in Sherborne you have a great choice of shops and eateries and a Waitrose and Sainsbury's - all only ten minutes away in this lovely market town. Make a point of visiting the two castles in Sherborne too, and its historic Abbey and also the fabulous art gallery The Sherborne where there is a good cafe and restaurant also. Other things to note It's an old farm cottage, like any old building it is characterful. Do study the guest folder on arrival for useful information about the property and the surrounding area.
