Garden Apartment Jana- Sunny Lakes Senec / Trnava

Apartment Jana is our 2017 built 2 bedroom ground floor garden apartment located next to Senec lake, Slovakia, Its 200 metres from the lake and is ideal for families looking for a relaxing & good value holiday. I am no longer an Airbnb Superhost simply because most guests are repeat guests (they like the apartment so much they come back directly), hence I dont have enough qualifying Airbnb stays to reach Superhost status recently. The space Senec Lake is a popular holiday resort. Many Slovaks, Czechs and Polish come here for their holidays due to the great weather, great lake and good prices. Also its a great base to see both Bratislava (direct train 300m away) and also to see how Slovaks live. Apartment has underfloor heating and air-conditioning (in the main living area), also remote controlled exterior metal blinds. There is a working (10 year battery) smoke alarm (last tested May 2024), there are no gas appliances so there is no Carbon Monoxide detector. The coffee machine takes Dolce Gusto capsules which are in every Slovak supermarket. The kitchen is very well equipped, for example garlic press, lemon squeezer, red and white wine glasses, champagne glasses, toaster, corkscrew, 12+ knives, kids plates and cutlery....if you want to cook then everything is here (or you walk 100-300 metres for the selection of bufets and restaurants) The Internet is via fibre 50Mbps up/50Mbps down with Wifi and RJ45 cable if needed. There is no issue to use VPNs or multiple sky9e, Webex, MS Teams conference calls simultaneously if you need to work. There is a media player with dozens of movies including the whole pink panther cartoon series :-) Guest access The apartment is yours - your private rear garden is secluded with a lake view (if you stand up!). Garden area is 6m x 5m landscaped (child friendly (be aware there maybe some chillis growing in one of the pots) & completely enclosed) with outdoor dining tables/chairs and some kids water toys. Small paddling pool will be ready if you let me know before you arrive. There are lots of other clean & working toys inside. Other things to note Note that in the summer months some of the nearby buffets have live music, for sure you will be able to hear this from the garden some nights but 1) Its usually quite good music 2) It makes you feel like you are on holiday (well I feel like I am all summer) 3) The apartment has double glazed windows and remote controlled metal blinds. 4) Previous guests have not mentioned it to be an issue. There is a beach volleyball court over the wall at the back of the garden (with a very high net to keep balls out of the garden), they use floodlights in the summer months so use of the shutters will keep out the light. If you would like to use the travel cot and high chair please let me know beforehand. We added an approved foam mattress to the travel cot, the original mattress (still used at the bottom of the cot) is very hard. The smoke alarm is tested regularly. Last tested 28/62025 We have a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit in the hall cupboard. There are 20 electric socket covers so you can protect every socket if needed. In Summer our favourite bufets are "Bufet Pri Kurtoch" (50m from the apartment) and Troya (the last bufet on the South side). Our favourite lunch place is Boka in the town (see their insta for the daily special) and favourite cafe is "Vo Dvore" who have a nice secluded garden. "Pralinka" is a good place if you have small kids, they have a nice kids play area.
