Escape to our stunning off-grid Shepherd Huts, complete with a cosy wood-burning stove, comfy double bed and USB charging points. Enjoy a separate open-air kitchen with BBQ, gas hob and cool boxes, plus a compost toilet and hot gas rain shower. Set in peaceful countryside, it’s perfect for couples or solo travellers looking to unwind. The sea is just a short distance away for coastal walks, swimming, paddleboarding and spectacular seaside sunsets. The space The shepherd’s hut is an off-grid, self-contained space designed for simple countryside stays. Inside there is a sleeping area and seating space. Lighting in the hut is provided by rechargeable lights, and there are off-grid USB charging points available for charging small devices such as phones. Heating is provided by a log burner, which keeps the space warm during cooler evenings. A cool box is available for storing food and drinks during your stay. The hut operates off-grid, so facilities are simple and designed to suit the rural setting. The hut includes a compost toilet, and guests can use a semi-outdoor shower with hot running water. Wildlife is often seen in the area, and the rural location offers darker night skies for stargazing. The nearby coastline can be reached within a short drive and offers coastal walks, swimming, and other seaside activities, while local villages and towns provide access to shops, pubs, and places to eat. The hut is best suited to guests who enjoy a quieter, nature-based stay and are comfortable with a simple off-grid style of accommodation. Parking is available on our driveway, and from there it is a short walk of approximately 3 minutes across the field to reach the hut. Please note that the pathway is not lit after dark, so torches are provided for your convenience if you arrive or return in the evening. Other things to note 1 Dog is allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times due to nesting wild animals and roaming livestock on the land.
