The tower house on Lake Bergheide sits on the 18.5 meter high steel tower of a disused windmill. At a height of 8 meters, a modern, light-flooded apartment for up to 5 people awaits you on around 70 m². A striking spiral staircase made of steel leads you up into a world of industrial design and modern home decor. Step onto the balcony and enjoy the unobstructed panoramic views over the glittering Bergheider See and the impressive F60 conveyor bridge. The fully equipped kitchen, smart TV and air conditioning ensure maximum living comfort. The tower house is a pilot project for sustainable reuse: The steel tower of a decommissioned wind turbine receives a second life as a holiday home. A wooden structure was erected, insulated with natural wood fiber – carried out by regional craft businesses. You don't just spend the night here – you sleep above the "clouds" of Lusatia. Right on the lake you can swim, paddle or relax on the wide sandy beach. Bicycle paths, hiking trails and the F60 as a visitor's mine are waiting for you in the immediate vicinity. Guest access The whole apartment is exclusively available to you. Make yourself at home – high above the lake! Other things to note The ascent to the tower house is via a spiral staircase – please note that the property is less suitable for those with limited mobility. Please note that there may be occasional crafts in surrounding houses on weekdays. In July, there may also be occasional activities as part of the festival preparations. We recommend checking the event calendar in advance – we will also be happy to inform you on request. Free parking is available directly at the tower house. We provide high quality sheets and towels. You'll also find a welcome set with coffee and tea. Additional services: Late check-out is subject to availability and can be booked for an additional fee. Cleaning can also be arranged during your stay at an extra cost. A registration form must be completed before checking in.
