The cabin under the stars

In the heart of the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, my wooden, earth and straw cabin welcomes you for a simple and conscious break. Built with natural materials, this place is first and foremost a living habitat. I open it a few nights a month when I am away, to share another way of living: more sober, more respectful, more connected to the living. Here, the pace naturally slows down. We come to read, walk, contemplate, cook simply, with local products, breathe. The space The main living room gathers lounge, dining room and kitchen in the same friendly volume. The large openings let in light throughout the day and offer a soothing view of the surrounding landscape. It's a nice place to cook, read, share a meal or just contemplate the hills. There is no Wi-Fi, but the mobile network is 4G and works very well. Above, a mezzanine features a comfortable double bed. This sleeping area, open to the living room, creates a soft and intimate atmosphere. The bathroom includes a convenient corner for storing clothes and belongings. The toilet is a dry toilet, in the ecological spirit of the place. The entire cabin is designed to enjoy natural light and scenery: the surrounding hills and vast sky accompany every moment of the day. Guest access The entire cabin is accessible to guests, as well as the terraces and the land of about 1000 m², conducive to simple moments: a coffee in the sun, a book in the shade or contemplation of the hills.
