Peaceful two-bedroom coastal home beside Malltraeth Cob, moments from the water and right on the Anglesey Coastal Path. With estuary views from the garden, a cosy log burner, and easy access to Newborough Forest, Beach and Ynys Llanddwyn, it’s the perfect base for walkers, birdwatchers and anyone wanting a quiet escape in one of Anglesey’s most beautiful corners. This is my home when I’m not hosting – expect a cosy, characterful space rather than a minimalist hotel-style stay. The space Living Room A cosy place to collapse after a day exploring the coast. There’s a comfortable sofa, a log burner for chilly Anglesey evenings, and a dresser full of books and board games for when the weather remembers it’s Wales and starts raining again. There’s also a TV with Netflix — sadly the cheap version, so you may have to endure the occasional ad like it’s 2007 again. Character building, apparently. When the weather turns a little wild (as it sometimes does in Wales), you’ll find a Nintendo Switch ready for relaxed evenings in—whether that’s a bit of fun, laughter, or some gentle competition. Kitchen A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking during your stay — oven, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and a very important coffee machine to make sure you stay properly caffeinated for adventures. Perfect for slow breakfasts before heading out to Newborough Forest or Llanddwyn Island, or cooking something simple after a day by the sea. Bedroom 1 A peaceful double bedroom designed for a good night’s sleep after a day of fresh sea air. Comfortable bedding, soft lighting and a calm space to properly switch off. Please note: For added flexibility, the king-size bed in this bedroom can be arranged as two twin singles on request — ideal for friends, family, or anyone who prefers their own space. Bedroom 2 A second cosy bedroom that’s perfect for friends, family or anyone who snores loudly enough to need their own room. Bathroom A simple, clean bathroom with a shower and fresh towels provided — everything you need to rinse off sand, salt and sea air after a day exploring the island. Garden One of the best parts of the house. The garden looks out across the Malltraeth estuary, where you’ll often spot herons, egrets and other birdlife wandering about looking important. It’s a lovely place to sit with a coffee in the morning or a glass of something in the evening while watching the light change across the water. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and garden during their stay, so you can make yourselves completely at home. The garden looks out over the Malltraeth estuary, and it’s a lovely place to sit with a coffee in the morning or relax after a day exploring the coastal path. The house sits directly on the Anglesey Coastal Path, making it a great base for walkers. If you’re walking sections of the path and need a lift back to your car, I’m sometimes able to help with this — just get in touch in advance to arrange. The loft space and the outbuilding are not accessible to guests, as they are currently being renovated, so they will remain locked during your stay. Otherwise, the rest of the house and garden are yours to enjoy.
