From the house, located by the cozy marina, it's just a short walk along the harbor to the center of Assens, which offers exciting galleries, museums, collections and good specialty stores. Assens is surrounded by beautiful countryside with fields and forests and magnificent views of the Little Belt and offers many unique nature experiences, sights and activities. 15 km southeast of Assens is the Helnæs peninsula, known for its unique, unspoiled nature, clear water and beautiful beaches. 10 km north of Assens is Sandager Næs, an ideal destination for those who want to fish, hike, bike or just enjoy nature in the peaceful surroundings.
