La Trave and Il Pumo Mantua
La Trave e Il Pumo Mantua
Description
Welcome to where time slows down. This is not just a room; it’s the story of my journey between Mantua and Salento. In the house, you will find a work that I personally designed: “Mantua – La Trave e Il Pumo.” It combines the solidity of my Mantuan roots (the beam) with the warmth of Puglia, the region that has embraced me professionally (the pumo, a symbol of good luck). I offer you hospitality characterized by care, precision, and soul. Come and discover Mantua through my eyes. The space Title: In the heart of the Gonzaga district: between Piazza Sordello and the lake The Location Via Tazzoli 13 is the perfect address for those who want to experience Mantua without compromise. Located just a 60-second walk from Piazza Sordello, the city's beating heart, it allows you to admire the Doge's Palace and the Cathedral as soon as you step out the door. Between History and Nature With a pleasant 5-minute walk, following the charming Via del Museo dei Pompieri, you will find yourself on the shores of Lake Inferiore. It’s the perfect route to enjoy a sunset over the water or to ride the bike path that circles the city. “Slow” Mantua Mantua is a gem best enjoyed on foot: the city is entirely flat, and distances are short. This strategic location allows you to visit the main art sites and the medieval lakeside squares in a couple of days. Located 50 meters from the natural arena in Piazza Sordello, where major summer concerts (Pet Shop Boys, Jethro Tull, Caparezza) and the Festivaletteratura are held. Guest access Guests will have access to all the spaces in the house. Via Tazzoli is a historic and quiet street: it is very easy to reach on foot from Piazza Sordello. For those arriving by car, please note that we are located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL); we will send you a detailed guide to the free and paid parking options within a few minutes’ walk to ensure a stress-free arrival. Other things to note Experience the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) without stress: The house is located in the heart of the historic center (ZTL). If you arrive by car, I recommend the free parking lot at Campo Canoa: it’s just past the bridge, offers a breathtaking view of the city skyline, and there’s a free shuttle that drops you off in Piazza Sordello, one minute from my place on Via Tazzoli. Bike-friendly: Mantua is the city of bicycles. If you rent a bike, you can get to the shores of the lakes in no time by passing the Firefighters’ Museum and following the bike path that goes around the entire city. The tranquility of the city center: Despite being extremely close to Piazza Sordello, Via Tazzoli is a very quiet and peaceful side street, ideal for resting after a day spent walking among the Gonzaga family’s buildings. Self Check-in: To give you maximum flexibility regarding your arrival time, I use a [self check-in / lockbox] system, so you won’t have to worry about travel delays. You will receive detailed instructions on the morning of your arrival.” Registration Details IT020030B4CPTFEI3O
