Căsuța Bunicii Retezat – Authentic cottage in the heart of the Retezat Mountains The last cottage in the area, Căsuța Bunicii Retezat is a beautiful oak log cabin, over 100 years old, carefully restored and adapted to modern comfort. Here the old blends harmoniously with the new, offering peace, fresh air and total relaxation. Located in the Retezat Mountains, Hunedoara County, the cottage is surrounded by secular forests and alpine meadows, a few minutes from the Gura Apelor Retezat Dam The space The cottage has two comfortable rooms, designed to provide a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of nature. On the ground floor there is a cozy room with a double bed, ideal for resting after a day spent on the mountain. Upstairs there is a second room, also equipped with a double bed, perfect for couples or family. In each room, a professional hotel-type extendable bed can be added, if necessary, so that the optimal accommodation capacity of the cottage is 6 people. For larger groups, 7–8 people can be accommodated, but the space becomes more compact, which remains at the guests' choice. The cottage has a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, ready to provide you with all the necessary comfort during your stay. The kitchen includes sink, stove, coffee machine, toaster, as well as all the necessary utensils for cooking and serving the meal. The intimate atmosphere of the cottage, the tranquility of the area and the comfort offered make this place the ideal choice for families, couples or friends who want to enjoy nature and relaxation.
