Sûr Jumigny by Ööd - The Cave

A reflective architectural retreat just off the Route de Champagne. The Cave is one of two mirrored cabins at Sûr Jumigny, created in collaboration with ÖÖD. Set within a historic village, it sits beside a 350-year-old wine cellar and includes a private sauna and elevated terrace above the cellar roof. The mirrored façade reflects stone, sky and meadow, offering a calm, design-led base for exploring nearby vineyards and countryside. The space The Cave is a fully self-contained mirrored cabin designed for two guests. Inside, you’ll find a queen-size bed, a private bathroom with shower and toilet, and an open-plan living space with lounge and dining area. A fully equipped kitchenette allows you to prepare simple meals during your stay. Full-height glazing faces the landscape, bringing natural light into the interior while maintaining privacy. The cabin extends onto a private outdoor terrace with seating. A detached wood-fired sauna sits independently within the grounds and is reserved exclusively for your use. Firewood is provided. Guest access The cabin is positioned independently within the grounds of the estate. You have exclusive access to your cabin, private terrace, and detached wood-fired sauna. There are no shared indoor spaces. Other things to note The setting is rural and quiet. Shops and restaurants are a short drive away. The sauna is wood-fired and requires lighting and maintaining the stove during use. Instructions are provided. This is an architectural retreat designed for calm stays. It is not suited to parties or events.
