[BG] A cozy eco complex of several houses renovated in a lodge style, located in a quiet old mountain valley, surrounded by three flowing streams. The houses are fully equipped with everything you need for your full vacation in the Balkan Mountains. The space [Eng] Who will enjoy this place: 1. Nature lovers, who would like to explore the beautiful surroundings and traditional Bulgarian way of living. 2. People who would like to disconnect from the city life, rest and recharge close to nature. 3. People who would like to experience the rural life with its charm. 4. Family vacations, group parties, yoga or other retreats, student and youth educational events . 5. IT nomads and other people that can stay longer far from their jobs. Who will probably NOT gonna enjoy: 1. Those who are looking for a high star hotel conditions. The facilities are deliberately basic, in order to provide the guests a glimpse from the vanishing rural life. General Description: Three separated neighboring house available! All of them are off grid, Eco houses. Equipped with solar panels and fresh local water supply. Guests can choose to accommodate all of them or only one in their visit, and depends of their numbers. The Baba Elena's House: First floor a big stone dinning room with a large place for relax, parting or sitting. All the necessary equipment for self food preparing. First room - 5 single beds Second room - 4 single beds + 1 single bed Third room - 1 king size double bed One bathroom with a toilet and a shower The "Barn" The newest place which is perfectly renovated old barn in a etno family house. On the first floor There is a huge dinning room with kitchen place and large Turkish sofa stile bench and a cozy panoramic second floor with 4 single beds and a nice terrace. One bathroom with a toilet and a shower. Guest access The guests can use the entire complex or any separated house. The rooms are cozy bedded. Some of them are with two floors wooden beds. Also there are double rooms with a separated bed. All the beds are equipped with comfortable mattresses, sheets and duvets. Being in the mountains, bringing your own towels is very welcomed if its difficult for you, please inform me to provide before check in. We have full abilities and tools for self cooking in the dinning room or outside at the nice barbecue with a pizza oven. For the laziest I may prepare delicious traditional food on a special request. There is a grill, wooden stove and a gas hob. The baths are with a boiler on wood and the hot water supply comes from it. Every bedroom is connected to the local heating system that also runs on wood. The house is surrounded by nice meadows and a green yard. There is a green house with a fresh vegetables planted that are allowed for the guests. For the hot summer days there is a small swimming poll. The reason being that the village, Cherni Osam, doesn't have ATM and the grocery shops don't accept credit cards. * A bit of History :) During the Ottoman Empire, my grand grand father used to live in the village nearby. After being threatened once by an ottoman soldier, he gathered a few people and ran away with only few belongings in his hand. He chose to settle here in this valley and established a new village. Baba Elena was the last resident of this village.
