Village Odzun is on the upper valley of Debed Canyon in one of the cozy corners of Lori Province. This is an alternative concept for the development rural tourism in Armenia. The space A specially designed, furnished and equipped working environment aims to bring the attention of various organizations for organizing various social and educational activities. Based on this Carrot & Beetroot would like to offer alternative space for work and stay where healthy discussions outside of the crowded metropolitans will be carried out situated in an environmentally friendly space and equipped with all basic technical needs. We intend to change people’s mindset through a number of activities and programs which will include educational and cultural activities. Guest access However, we offer not only our facilities for relaxation but in partnership with local and international organizations, individual artists we offer our space for residency projects, staff retreat etc. In August 2022, we hosted local and international artists for 5 days in Carrot & Beetroot who also initiated creative event/workshop for the community children on Lino cut art with. Other things to note One of the magnificent monasteries of Armenia is in Odzun. Being built from 5-7th cc it still admires visitors with grandeur and massive architecture. Odzun Monastery considered as one of the fines Armenian basilicas. Debed canyon is the best destination for rafting in Armenia, so if you’re in the region, don’t miss your chance to row through the rapid streams of the Debed River and enjoy the scenic views of the canyon.
