SKYROO’S self catering cottages are the perfect getaway and welcomes you to enjoy nature in the Small Karoo at its very best! Tastefully furnished & equipped with fine quality bedding and towels. Each cottage sleeps four. Both bedrooms are en-suite with full bathroom. In the open-plan living & dining area, an indoor fireplace, already stacked will warm you on a chilly night. For those balmy evenings spent under the stunning Karoo sky, a braai area & 'conversation pit' awaits. The space Guest can enjoy our hiking/ running / mountain bike trails with spectacular views over the Langerberg and Riviersonderend mountain ranges. Interesting “Little Karoo” vegetation which changes every month with some of the most exquisite carpets of luminous vygies gracing the landscape during October / Nov months. To crown it all , the occasional “last minute winter ” snow capped mountains in the distance just make being out in the country “heaven on earth”! Guest access Visit the tranquil town of Mcgregor for a bit of Yogo or a leisurely lunch. Roberston is a 20 min drive with an array of well known wine estates and restaurant en route . Then Bonnievale and Montagu are nearby with loads of of interesting things to see and do. Other things to note Please note that due to COVID cottages are cleaned and sanitised prior to your arrival . Staff will not service during your stay. Please read through the folders provided in the cottage. Our cottages are run totally off the grid so while we can charge phones - hairdryers etc are discouraged
