Dunaalmás is located 70 km from Budapest, accessible by car, bus, train or even bicycle, as the EuroVelo bicycle road is located approx. 100 m away. The area awaits with rich experiences: in the Neszmély wine region, it is worth discovering the local wineries, tasting the delicious wines, or taking a romantic walk along the Danube bank. The proximity of Tata offers other exciting sights, such as the Old Lake or the Esterházy Palace. In Dunaalmás, the tap water is completely safe and healthy, but due to its high sulfur content, it smells like a rotten egg. The same medicinal water fed the Dunaalmás sulfur bath, which was already known for its healing effect in the time of the Romans. In case of flooding: if the Danube water level at Komárom exceeds 550 cm, a II. degree flood protection alert will be activated, in which case, unfortunately, our service will be interrupted and a force majeure situation will occur.
