Comfortable double room in our quiet, modern home in Howden. Ideal for solo travellers or couples, the room offers a cosy space to relax, with access to a shared bathroom and bright kitchen/dining area. We’re a friendly couple who live here and respect guests’ privacy. A 5-minute walk to Howden centre, 20-minute walk to the train station and 30 minute drive from York. If you’re passing through, visiting locally, or exploring Yorkshire, this is a homely base to return to at the end of the day. Guest access You have your own private bedroom with superfast WiFi and TV with Netflix & Amazon Prime. The bathroom is immediately across the corridor from your room and will usually be exclusively used by you during your stay as we tend to use our en-suite when guests stay to ensure privacy. Very welcome to use our modern kitchen and dining area to make meals if you wish, we have plenty of appliances for you to use and a dishwasher so no need to wash up, just leave dishes in the sink for us to load up the washer. Help yourselves to tea, coffee, milk and condiments. Towels will also be provided, there is no need to bring your own. Use of the washing machine and tumble dryer can also be used at a small charge to cover utilities if you need to use it.
