Ideal for a long weekend / week away with children or family.  The village of Parfondeval has been named one of the most beautiful villages (Beau Village) in France. In the village, you will find a restaurant, a pétanque court, and there is a village walk that takes you past all the historic sights of the village, including an old bathhouse and a church (Église Saint-Médard de Parfondeval). Parfondeval is on a cultural route that takes you past fortified churches. ACCOMMODATION: On our estate, you will find 2 houses which are connected internally by means of a lockable door. The first house (gite) can accommodate 4 people and has a private backyard with a trampoline. On the ground floor, there is the living room with fireplace, TV with Netflix, well-equipped kitchen, and bathroom with shower and toilet. On the 1st floor are 2 spacious bedrooms with two double beds. In this second house with its own entrance, there is a cozy sitting area, dining table, coffee corner, TV with Netflix, kitchen with fireplace, 6-burner gas stove, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, ice cube maker and fridge. Utility room with washing machine, dryer, small freezer, extensive games cabinet, toilet with sink. Spacious dining room with a 4-meter-long table for evenings of fun with the whole family. In the entrance hall, there is a passage to the play barn and a staircase to the 1st floor, where there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath, shower and sink. In the play barn, there is a table tennis table, dart board and foosball table. Adjacent is the washroom with a bathroom equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet. Here is also an extra washer & dryer and a separate toilet. You will also find the 4th bedroom here on the ground floor.  GARDEN: Around the house, you will find the garden with a beautifully lit soccer field, a wood-fired hot tub for 4 people, and playground equipment. There is a covered outdoor area with a gas barbecue, a charcoal barbecue, and a spacious dining table. AREA: The country house is a 5-minute drive from a large supermarket, bakery, butcher and pharmacy. In the immediate vicinity are beautiful hiking and biking routes (including mountain bike trails). Within a 30-60 minute drive, there are climbing parks, a beautiful lake with a beach, an (indoor and outdoor) swimming pool with slides, bowling, a go-kart track, a large supermarket, various shops, restaurants and a hospital. Cities such as Charleville, Laon and Reims can be found within a 60-minute drive. In Reims, there are many champagne houses that you can visit, as well as the famous cathedral. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  * Flexible in terms of arrival time and departure time (for example, late check-out is possible free of charge). From June 1st to September 30th, a private swimming pool (8m x 4m) is available on our property. *Air conditioning is available in 4 of the 6 bedrooms.
