Unique and cute house on Kegnæs

This newly renovated small cottage on Kegnæs is synonymous with Danish hygge. With a private garden, a small terrace and an interior that reflects the house’ 150+ year history, it’s a small house best suited for a couple or a family with up to two children. The house is just a short (and very pretty) walk to the beach and features WiFi, a cosy fireplace and all you need for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle. The space The open plan living-dining room is small, but has all you need: a cosy fireplace (wood supplied), a couch and a comfy chair for reading books, a dining table and four chairs. There's also a TV. The kitchen is newly installed and features an oven, stovetop, microwave and fridge along with all the cutlery and crockery, pots and pans you could possibly need. The larger bedroom features a queen size bed, a cupboard and a bench, while the smaller bedroom includes shelving and a bunk bed. There’s a very small play area under the bunk bed and we’ll happily lend your little ones some toys. We also have a few kids’ bikes, which you are welcome to borrow. A cot is also available, if you have very young children. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and cupboards. Garden furniture and a BBQ are of course ready to help you make the most of the long summer evenings. If you come during winter, you’ll enjoy the fireplace, hydronic heating and the fact that the house is well insulated. Guest access The entire house and garden will be yours. We live next door in the main farm house some 50 metres from your house. We communicate via this app and you’ll have complete privacy. Other things to note We speak German, English and of course Danish. Please feel free to contact us in whichever language you're most comfortable with. Due to the rising electricity prices, we unfortunately have to charge you for your electricity usage - rather than simply increase our rates, we’d rather charge your for your actual usage. We hope you understand. The cost is the standard rates that we are charged, and the charge is due upon departure.
