Set on a quiet country lane in the heart of the Exe Valley, it's surrounded by East Devon countryside which can be enjoyed from every aspect, offering complete peace & tranquillity. Exeter is just a short drive away. Slightly further afield, The Lodge is centrally located for accessing the North & South Devon coastlines. The French doors from the lounge lead to an al-fresco patio dining area with table and chairs for six, with views over the impressive grounds and surrounding East Devon countryside. Please note: The pond is unfenced, and its bridge has been chained off due to it being unsafe, so please do not walk over it. No swimming or fishing in the pond, and please always supervise children outside. Parking Private driveway with parking for two small cars, or one large car. Other things to note Included: Bed linen and towels, electric storage heating and Aga, travel cot and highchair (available on request). Telephone and Wi-Fi: Mobile reception is generally good, although please check with your provider prior to booking. Wi-Fi provided. Pets: Regret no pets. EV Charging: Not available. Short Breaks: Accepted all year. Local Facilities: Farm shop half a mile, pubs in Thorverton 1.5 miles, convenience store and pubs in Silverton 1.5 miles.
