Acorn Garden Hideaway

The Acorn Garden Hideaway is at the bottom of our garden under an old oak tree. In autumn acorns fall onto it, hence the name. Access is via a 20m path at the side of the lawn. The building is raised off the ground, insulated & watertight. It has a bedroom/living room with king size bed, TV, wifi, desk, wood burning stove & electric heater. There's a small kitchenette, portaloo, shower room (with camping pump shower) and sauna. Bebington station 8min walk, trains to Liverpool & Chester. The space The Acorn Garden Hideaway is a quiet, private space surrounded by nature. Woodpeckers are regularly heard (& seen) in the oak woodland above & behind the accommodation. Access is from Highfield South Road where guests can park unrestricted for free. Guests will have access to a key to walk through a covered walkway into the garden. It’s then 20m walk on a stone path over the lawn. Two steps up into the Acorn which has its own key code lock. Inside there is a king size bed with duvet, 4 pillows, free WiFi, TV, desk, electric wall mounted heater & wood burner. A small kitchenette has a sink/drainer, cold water tap, kettle, filter coffee machine, mini fridge, cups & tea/coffee making facility. The toilet room contains a portaloo, next to it is a shower room (with a camping pump shower), and behind that is a small sauna (2 persons max). Bebington station is 8 mins walk. From there trains to Liverpool leave every 15 mins (13 min journey time) and to Chester every 30 mins (28 min journey time). Guest access Guests can park on the road outside the house. They can self-check in using a key to go through a covered walkway at the side of the house into the garden. They follow a stone path over the lawn and enter the Acorn accommodation using a key pad. Other things to note Please be aware that the toilet here is a portaloo. It will be emptied before & after your visit. Also note that the shower is a pump camping shower. You will need to fill it with warm water (heated with a kettle) before use. There is a standard shower tray with curtains. The sauna is next to the shower but is small (max 2 persons).
