Our three-bed and three-bath stable cottage has everything needed for a relaxing break. Within three miles of Winchester in the South Downs National Park, glorious walks are on the doorstep as well as sightseeing in a famous Cathedral city. The Stable has a well-equipped kitchen, three gorgeous ensuite bathrooms, a roll-top copper bath in the master bedroom, and a hot tub under a gazebo. Guests also get access to a tennis court and swimming pool within the grounds. The space Our three-bedroom and three-bathroom stable conversion has been recently renovated. It sits alongside our own property, but with its own enclosed garden, and a wall between the properties, offers plenty of privacy. Each bedroom and bathroom is individually decorated with art and pretty soft furnishings, and the bedding is Egyptian cotton. There are two sitting rooms connected by a secret bookcase sliding door. This means groups and families - perhaps grandparents wanting to be near grandchildren, but still wanting a lie-in! - get their own space while still being together. The sitting room attached to the main kitchen has a large electric fireplace and media unit with Smart TV. Books and boardgames are provided. The second sitting room attached to the downstairs bedroom adjoins the other sitting room with a sliding bookcase door, making it easy for couples travelling together to have a bit of privacy. Logs and kindling are provided for the small log burner in this sitting room. This room also has a Smart TV and a kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher and sink. Perfect for an early morning cuppa or late night cocktail without disturbing other guests! The outside space has a dining table and six chairs, alongside the hot tub and its gazebo. The downstairs bedroom has its own private enclosed garden with table and two chairs. Guests are welcome to wander in the owner's garden and use the heated pool (mid-May to early September, season dependent on weather). We have two dogs, a jack russell and a labrador. They know they aren't allowed in the stable! We sadly can't accept other dogs because our jack russell can get a little territorial.
