Ligne Noble - Elegant manor in the Nièvre
Description
A hidden gem nestled in the peace and beauty of the French countryside. 3-star Gîte in the Bourgogne. This is a place of reflection, where time seems to slow down and the days are marked by the gentle rustle of the wind and the song of many birds. This spacious, charming country house is surrounded by a vast garden that flows seamlessly into the stunning natural surroundings with sweeping views, far from the crowds. Here, it is non-touristic, and silence is the most beautiful sound. The space Layout of Ligne Noble: Ground Floor: Space, Light, and Warmth The ground floor is designed for comfort and togetherness, featuring a natural 'flow' and direct access to the terrace from the main living areas: The Entrance: A spacious hallway with a characteristic wood-burning stove and a practical workspace. This floor also includes a guest toilet, the first shower room, and a laundry room. The Living Room: A cozy, peaceful retreat with its own wood-burning stove—perfect for curling up with a good book. The Central Dining Room: From the living room, you walk straight into the spacious dining area. This is the heart of the home, featuring a third wood-burning stove and a comfortable seating nook. Large French door open directly onto the terrace, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. The Kitchen: Adjacent to the dining room, you’ll find the large, fully equipped kitchen—ideal for those who love cooking with fresh, local ingredients. First Floor: Peace and Privacy The Master Bedroom: A generous bedroom with a queen-size bed and expansive views over the garden and the surrounding countryside. This room features its own private en-suite bathroom (equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink) for ultimate comfort. The Second Bedroom: A flexible space with a small double bed (120cm), a single bed, and an optional folding bed. Perfect for children or extra guests. Outdoor Living: The house is surrounded by a large, open garden that merges into the rolling French landscape. There are various seating areas to enjoy the sun (or the shade) throughout the day. The Kitchen Garden: For those who love fresh flavors, there is a small "potager" with vegetables, herbs, and fruit. Guests are more than welcome to pick what they need for their meals. Cooling Down: In the back garden, a compact private pool awaits to offer refreshing dips during warm summer days. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house and the large garden. You will enjoy total privacy; the swimming pool and the kitchen garden are exclusively for our guests' use. Please note: The various outbuildings (barns) on the property are private and not accessible to guests. We kindly ask you to respect these private areas. Other things to note Fire Safety: Open fires are strictly prohibited, especially outdoors! Due to drought risks and respect for the environment, this is our most important rule. Wood-burning Stoves: For the indoor stoves, a starter kit (including kindling and firelighters) is available for purchase for €10. Location & Supplies: The nearest shops are 17 km away. We recommend bringing groceries for your first day. During high season, supermarkets are open on Sundays. Peace & Quiet: A quiet period applies outdoors between 19:00 (7 PM) and 07:00 (7 AM). The horse in the neighboring field belongs to our neighbors and must not be fed. Keeping Cool: On hot days, we advise keeping doors and shutters closed during the day to keep the house pleasantly cool. Waste Management: Waste must be strictly separated according to local regulations; otherwise, it will not be collected. Accessibility: There are stairs leading to the bedrooms. While not excessively steep, please take this into account. Water feature: During spring and autumn, there is a water basin/pond in the back garden. Please be mindful of this, especially when traveling with small children. Our Oak Trees: We are very proud of our majestic oak trees. While they look inviting, climbing the trees is not permitted for your safety and the preservation of the trees. Registration Details 10192417300012
